It is a great pride for me to introduce this event, Indonesia Marketing Competition (IMOTION), the biggest marketing plan and debate competition for undergraduate students in Indonesia held by Management Student Society (MSS) FEB UI. The 11th IMOTION is one of the media to voice ideas from students with the hope to create innovation for future generation.
Since the change of the new era, globalization has taken place to a whole new level, producing changes to every sector there is including marketing. Marketers today are forced to innovate their strategic planning in marketing new products by keeping track records of consumer’s interest. This tactic is called The Big Data Base and this year, The 11th Imotion proudly presents the competition with the theme of “MARKETING INTELLIGENCE / BIG DATA: Analyzing Trends to create efficient and effective marketing strategies", with the hope to increase consumer awareness of market opportunity.
